huwamaaru.lk enables online cross matching of various requirements between two users/entities
E.g. To Buy or Sell, Changing or Exchanging, Share or Split Costs, join ventures or simply advertising or promoting.
Designed to minimise the use of currency so kids, teenagers any body can use & enjoycashless transactions.
HOW TO ADVERTISE ?
Advertise all your requirements in the relevant category and try to exchange them with other user's cross requirement in return.
If you are not interested in exchange and only expecting cash; skip the "Allow Exchange" option Exchange transactions can be same value or different value, same category or a different category anything as long as the two user's accept the deal. If there is a price difference the amount will be shown to each user in "My Matches" page when cross matching. Any difference of value can be settled as cash balance at the time of transaction by either party
Option available to show or hide your contact details subjected to acceptance of an offer. in other words your contact details or other's details won't be shown until both user's they accept an offer
Who Can Advertise?
Anybody who has access to internet.
Any body who has a Requirement, an Offer or just a good idea!Anybody with money or without.
Any body trying to help save Nature!
There are two ways. "My Matches" & "Wish List" pages.
to get matches for your post you need to post it with "Allow Exchange" option and nominate preferred cross matching items.
In "My Matches" page Click on your item to find matching items. there can be one or many for you to choose from.
If/When you see an interesting item/s click the "Offer Exchange" button. it will be notified to other user by e mail and in their "Offers" Page.
Similarly you will be notified if others send you an offer.
If you leave "Allow Exchange" option blank it will be seen as a "Cash" transaction to others. You won't be able to match these items with others requirements but only for value
if you don't get a match try one of following by Re-posting the Ad.

The other way is from the "Wish List" Page.
This enables you to match others "liked" products with your products.
In order for this to work you have to first mark the liked items from others posts by clicking the "Heart" icon on their posts. this will add them to your "Wish List"
In your wish list page click on the others items. if there are matching items it will be shown. If you find something interesting click on "Offer Exchange" button. this will be notified to other user.
Any thing can be exchanged, as long as there is a match and other user excepts your Offer.
Yes. Eg. Teacher Student transfers, Staff Exchanges, patient transfers, Job location exchange etc.
How Do I Know The Quality Of The Other Item In Exchange? How Can I Trust ?
It's just like purchasing anything online. Try before you Buy!" Do a Physical inspection , Search 'Google' for similar item prices, match appearance, etc. Same as you would do if you were Buying for cash.
Mention your expectation it in the description. You will be able to see the same from other user's description as well.

Delete Your Huwamaru Account & Data We respect your right to leave and to control your data. This page explains how account deletion works on Huwamaru.lk, what happens to your information, and how to submit a request. ________________________________________ Quick summary • You can request account deletion using our contact form below. • If you have active exchanges, claims, or unpaid dues, deletion will be paused until obligations are cleared. • While we check, we can deactivate your account (hide listings, pause messages/notifications). • Certain records may be retained for a limited time for fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legal compliance. ________________________________________ Before you request deletion Deleting your account will: • Remove your profile, login access, and visibility of your listings and messages to others. • Stop emails/notifications from Huwamaru. • Break social logins (Facebook/Instagram/Google) to your account. It does not automatically cancel ongoing swaps or payments. Those must be resolved first (see next section). ________________________________________ Active exchanges & liabilities (important) Because Huwamaru supports swaps and shared-cost exchanges, we can only delete an account when: • All open exchanges are completed or cancelled by mutual agreement; and • Any pending claims, disputes, or dues are settled. If you have open items, we will: 1. Deactivate your account immediately (on request), and 2. Queue your deletion. As soon as your obligations are cleared, we complete deletion and confirm by email/SMS. ________________________________________ Prefer a temporary break? (Deactivation) If you don’t want to wait for completion of open exchanges: • Ask us to deactivate your account. • Deactivation hides your profile and listings and pauses notifications, but lets you finish any remaining obligations. We may ask you to confirm: • A one-time code sent to your registered email/phone, or • A short confirmation from your current login session. ________________________________________ Timeline • Acknowledgement: within [3 business days] • Deactivation (on request): usually same/next business day • Deletion completion: once obligations (if any) are cleared. If none, within [3 business days] of verification. We’ll update you at each step. If obligations exist, we’ll explain what’s outstanding and how to clear them. ________________________________________ What we delete • Profile data (name, photo, bio, preferences) • Authentication links (Facebook/Instagram/Google) • Listings you posted (removed from public view) • Private messages (removed from your view; counterparty may retain their copies as part of conversation history) ________________________________________ What we may retain (limited & time-bound) We may keep minimal records for [06 months] where required for: • Fraud prevention and security monitoring • Dispute/chargeback handling and audit trails of completed exchanges • Legal, tax, or regulatory obligations Where possible, retained records are anonymized (e.g., order IDs without personal identifiers). ________________________________________ If you signed in with Facebook or Instagram You can also remove Huwamaru’s access from your Facebook/Instagram settings. When you do, we receive a deauthorization notice and will mark your account disconnected on our side. • To fully delete your Huwamaru account and data, please still send us a deletion request via the form above. • For Facebook’s “Request data deletion” shortcut, you may be redirected back to this page and our form.
